Real Lager

Today in the south it’s hot and humid. At work it’s been an equally hot and frustrating day, so what luck that yesterday I was able to call in at the awesome if a little strange Sainsbury Market in Pimlico. (Think Morrisons with the random arrangement of pretend market barrows and then make it suitably posh).

This meant that today I had the delights of Real Lager from the Laverstoke Park Farm to sample and to help cool off a little, which was nice.

The label says I should be able to get malt-biscuity flavours, with some burnt sugar. I can’t. It’s lager – quite tasty for lager but not brimming with the bouquet of flavours most ale has. Or maybe I just can’t taste them…
